Dear Juna, thank you very much from us for your services. The trips, transfers and accommodations, as well as your directions were perfect. Regarding the places where we spent our holidays, we can tell you that we liked the island of Samos very much because it is very green and still able to offer beautiful natural views, with the charm of a Turkish background that can almost be touched. The town of Pitagorio it is delicious, let's not add anything else. However, we must make a small note on Lipsi, which Roberto had known forty years ago: Lipsi, which has a "Cycladic" appearance, is now dotted with villas and maisonnettes of Italians, who in fact have returned to occupy the island, perhaps more than during the first half of the last century... It seemed to us that the population was somewhat affected by the situation. In short, we have felt the effects of globalization a little too much, while the beauty of the places has remained valid. To my surprise they have not added other taverns on the beaches, which have always remained only two, like many years ago (Plati Yalos and Dilaila ). Furthermore, they have evidently chosen not to equip any beach with kiosks, umbrellas and sunbeds.

In Lipsi there are simply no equipped beaches: well, interesting decision!

On the boat with Luca, in addition to visiting the wonderful nearby islands, I also saw Patmos again which, thanks to Giulia Roberts and good peace of S. Giovanni, has become international. He thinks I was worried about visiting the monastery in shorts!
