Amorgos the blue island, which became famous for the movie Le Grand Blue by Luc Besson which, thanks to the film, made many people discover and fall in love with this small reality between the archipelago of the Cyclades Islands and the Dodecanese archipelago. Amorgos where the night sky looks like a painted picture, with steep rocks that give way to green valleys, where the wind is almost constant and where history has solid roots.

From the high south coast and without even a port, to the north coast with its ancient towns and the nearby islets of Gramvousa and Nikouria, where fishing and agriculture are still today the main means of livelihood, where since ancient times the production of fabrics made from a special plant that grows only in Amorgos were prized throughout Greece.

Despite its small size, there are a multitude of things to do in Amorgos and certainly the time to get bored will not be so much, indeed we will have to go back again and again and again to be able to know and appreciate the gifts that this beautiful and still unknown island manages to give to its visitors.
