Saint George beach is considered the beach of the Naxos city and is located in the southwest part of the capital. It owes its name to the delightful chapel of the same name which is located in the northern part of the bay.

If you stay in the capital with a pleasant walk, you can get there easily, indeed it is also an excellent opportunity to explore the internal paths of the beautiful Chora, if you are in other areas with your accommodation, you need your own vehicle. If you opt for a car, there is a large parking lot close to the beach but it fills up very quickly so even here, the one who gets there first is better. If you don't find a place in the main car park, a little further away you can find others where you can leave your vehicle for free.
