Logaras beach is found in the south-eastern part of Paros Island near the Piso Livadi village. The elegant Naoussa is seventeen kilometers away while the capital Parikia about twelve.
We can say that the Logaras beach is the city beach of the Piso Livadi village in fact it is just five hundred meters from the port. A three hundred and fifty meters long coastline of soft white sand mixed with small pebbles, clean and crystalline waters, a blue sea that turns into bright turquoise, gently sloping backdrops therefore ideal for families with children and for lovers of swimming. Around the beach there are tall trees that give shade during the hottest hours for those who want a day in freedom and do it yourself by spreading their towel where they feel most inspired. To the north of Logaras beach there are some interesting rock formations that offer rich depths of fish fauna and flora, a real paradise for snorkelers who absolutely must not forget to bring snorkel, fins, mask and an underwater camera. Even diving fans will find a stimulating environment for endless dives.
The Logaras beach is partly equipped with sun beds and umbrellas while a larger area is completely free. There is no shortage of bars, cafes, typical taverns where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish and traditional Greek dishes, but also international restaurants. For the quality of its services and natural beauty, it is always awarded the Blue Flag.
For sports enthusiasts, a wide choice of activities ranging from beach volleyball, pedal boats, to water skiing to do with the family or challenging old and new friends.
The area of Piso Livadi, is one of the most popular coastal settlements in Paros, in addition to the picturesque village made of low white houses, labyrinthine alleys and its traditional fishing boats with a Cycladic flavor, it also offers different accommodation solutions ranging from simple rooms for rent, from apartments to small and medium-sized hotels where you can spend a holiday of relaxation and comfort.
Do not miss as a break from the sun a visit to the small church of Agios Georgios Thalassites on the hill above the village dating back to the thirteenth century with the beautiful frescoes inside. Continuing south from Logaras beach you get to Pounda beach, the most famous for its lively nightlife.
It is very accessible thanks to the convenient ring road that connects it to Naoussa. The direction, however, from wherever you decide to stay is always south-east following the road signs for Piso Livadi.
The fastest and most comfortable method in all senses is a rental car or scooter. But be careful because during the high season, the parking lot near the beach fills up very easily, so our advice is to go there in the early afternoon or in the late afternoon.
The alternative is by public transport, from Paroikia and from the major seaside resorts, during the day there are several trips that vary according to the season. In this regard, an extra eye on the timetables is a must.
A beach to be included among the things to see in Paros, for a beautiful and fun day at the beach, perhaps stopping in the evening for an excellent dinner based on fresh fish or to visit other wonderful beaches in the area.
