The Konnos Bay Beach, we find it in the north east of the multifaceted Cyprus Island near the lively tourist resort of Ayia Napa and Protaras.
It is part of the Cape Greco Forest National Park, a Natura 2000 site that extends over 385 hectares of beautiful unspoiled natural landscape. The beach of Konnos Bay is enclosed in a beautiful bay with rocky mountains behind that offer a truly breathtaking scenery from above.
A two hundred meters long coastline with a width of about forty, all of soft white sand with silver reflections due to its volcanic origins, bathed by an intense turquoise sea with clean and crystalline waters. The Konnos Bay beach is considered the most beautiful beach in Cyprus, where the sandy bottoms gently slope down, making them perfect for families with children and for lovers of long swims.
Given its position, the sea is always calm, even when the wind whips the island, here everything is motionless and helpless, a real spectacle where you can spend whole days being kissed by the sun. Perhaps the only sore point is that it is very popular and during the summer it is filled with tourists and locals.
Not far away, Capo Greco is a small corner of paradise where you can enjoy walks admiring many species of flowers and rare plants as well as small animals such as hedgehogs, foxes or hares. If you reach the top, the panoramic view is enchanting especially at sunset.

Here you will find all the comforts from sunbeds to umbrellas, lifeguards who patrol the coast to ensure maximum safety, changing rooms, a bar for something fresh to drink or fast. to eat, an area for anchoring boats, taverns and restaurants just above where you can enjoy a taste of the rich Cypriot cuisine full of contamination from neighboring countries. A gem that we honestly have not seen in other Greek islands, the fun floating deck chairs to enjoy the sun and the sea at the same time.
For the more 'sporty and lovers of water sports, Konnos Bay beach offers a wide choice of activities to do with the whole family or with old or new friends.
Let's start by saying that the Cyprus Island, given its latitude, is already perfect for a beach holiday since the end of April. The waters are still a bit cold, not like the Aegean, however, and it is already possible to take a bath. According to our point of view the best time is June, September or October when the island is not so full of visitors and you can enjoy its beauty in a very quiet way.
Very simple, direction Ayia Napia and follow the signs to the beach. You can reach it with a vehicle (given the size of Cyprus we recommend renting a car but remember that driving is on the right) and leave it in the small parking lot.
For those who are not autonomous there are buses from the main tourist resorts that arrive there with several daily trips. In this regard, we remind you to always check the timetables.
Finally, for lovers of walking, you can reach it from above through a path between pines and lush vegetation.
Impossible to explain the beauty of Konnos beach, you have to admire it with your own eyes and for this reason it is absolutely to be included in the things to see in Cyprus.
