The Fellos Beach, we find it in the northwestern part of the Andros Island, about four kilometers from the port and lively Gavrio village.
Set in a beautiful bay, it is a long coastline of soft light sand, bathed by a sea that goes from blue to turquoise to deep blue with extremely clear and crystalline waters. The seabed drops gently for the first few meters, therefore perfect for families with children.
The Fellos beach is not equipped, it is still intact and natural with tamarisk trees that surround it, giving it precious natural shade during the hottest hours. If you plan to spend a whole day there, which is also ideal for relaxing and reaching the long-awaited tan, remember either to arrive early to grab a tamarisk as an umbrella, or to bring something to shelter from the sun’s rays. As for the services, if you do not feel like doing it yourself, a traditional tavern “The steki of Andreas” will delight your palate with dishes based on fresh fish and recipes of classic Greek and local cuisine.

For snorkelers, the bay offers a backdrop rich in marine fauna and flora so don’t forget your mask and fins. For one of the few times when it comes to the Andros Island, reaching it is really easy. Let’s start by saying that you need a vehicle precisely because there is no public transport that makes the route to get here, having said that just keeping the Gavrio village as a reference point, head north from the main road following signs until you arrive at a crossroads indicating the Fellos village where the beach is located. You will find a free parking area where you can leave your car or your scooter.
An alternative if you like walking is to reach it on foot, the only drawback is that the road is the same where cars circulate, but if you love walking you can do it.
A beach where you can spend a pleasant day also considering its dimensions that will not make you stand on top of each other, and for this reason alone it deserves to be included among the things to do in Andros.
