Donkey beach, we findit on the east coast of the beautiful Zakynthos Island more or lesshalfway to just one kilometer from the lively seaside Tsilivi village with its large beach much sought after for a holiday in Zakynthos separated only by a small hill. It isequipped with sunbeds and umbrellas at a cost of € 6/7 per day, asmall canteen where you can find something quick to eat and somerefreshing drinks as well as a fun beach volleyball court where youcan challenge your family or the old and new friends.
DYD lovers, on theother hand, can carve out their own corner on the unequipped part andmake themselves comfortable under the trees that line the beach tohave a moment of respite during the hottest hours of the day.
Donkey beach is theright place (perhaps a little less during the high season) formoments of absolute relaxation and tranquility without giving up anenchanting sea.
However, if you want evenmore privacy and definitely zero confusion, just two hundred metersbefore the small port, there is a path that will take you to anothersmall beach hidden by a large rock where if you arrive first you canconquer and spend hours in absolute rest and away from everyone.

East coast direction, keepingthe Tsilivi village as a point of reference, follow the paved roadand the signs and after a kilometer beyond the village, look at thesigns for Donkey Beach and you will have arrived. You can leave yourvehicle behind the beach.
For a day based on theexcellent sea and where you can rest body and mind, Donakey beach canbe a valid alternative, so don't forget to put it among the things to see in Zakynthos.
