The particular Ammoudaraki Beach, we find it in the southwestern part of Milos Island in the remote and solitary area of Chalaka. The capital Adamas is more than twenty kilometers away.

Located in the large Ormos Triadas bay which also hosts other wonderful coasts such as Triades beach, it is actually divided into four bays, each more beautiful than the other.

The first two coasts together with the fourth have a sandy shore of soft sand with a dark gold color given the volcanic origins of the Milos island, clean and crystalline waters, a sapphire-colored sea with gently sloping seabeds, perfect for lovers of I swim. The third, on the other hand, is made of medium-sized stones both outside and inside, therefore a bit more challenging to stay there.

All around rocks and low cliffs covered with Mediterranean scrub and undergrowth shrubs that make the area ideal for snorkelers who can explore the seabed and maybe have some interesting encounters.

Given its truly remote location, on Ammoudaraki beach everything is still in its primary state, nature is intact and unspoiled as a result of zero comfort and modernity. The first hint of civilization is about forty minutes by car so if during your holiday in Milos, you decide to spend the whole day there, remember to bring everything you need, to drink, to eat and something to shelter you from the sun in the warmer hours as there are no trees where you can find some respite. Its conformation creates natural pools to be discovered.

A beach much loved by people who love tranquility, relaxation and seek solitude, in Ammoudaraki beach it may even happen that you are alone all day.

There are two solutions, either by sea or by land. By sea it can be reached either by renting a private boat or to see if there are organized excursions that may also touch other coasts of the wildest part of Milos.

By land, and here we advise you to be patient and go slowly through a dirt road from Emborios or from Agia Marina passing by Profitis Elias. Be careful because there are signs but also several crossroads that can mislead you. However if you go right at the crossroads you will arrive at Ammoudaraki beach 1 and 2 just to identify them, if instead you take the left you will reach the 3 and 4.

There is not much to explain about Ammoudaraki beach, it is all so natural that there are no adjectives or particular explanations to provide, you just have to put it among the things to see in Milos, go there and make your own considerations, it will certainly be a ‘ different experience and in close contact with Mother Nature that you will hardly be able to forget.
