The popular Agios Sostis Beach, we find it in the southeastern part of the mystical Tinos Island about six kilometers from the capital Tinos Town.

Once a simple fishing village, today the beach and the village of the same name have become one of the most sought after centers for a holiday in Tinos. A long coastline of soft white sand where you can take long barefoot walks, clean, crystalline and warm waters, a blue and turquoise sea with gently sloping seabed perfect for the joy of families with children and for lovers of long and refreshing swims . Even snorkelers will find their corner on Agios Sostis beach where they can have fun discovering the magical underwater world. Near the local church overlooking the sea, a characteristic pier where you can enjoy acrobatic dives and challenge your old or new friends in skill. From the Agios Sostis beach you can see the nearby islands of Rinia, Delos and the multifaceted Mykonos.

The landscape that surrounds it is almost heavenly, behind high mountains that thanks to their position shelter it from the winds so that here it will be very difficult to find waves or rough sea, green hills covered with lush vegetation, small woods that during the hottest hours of the day are a providential gift from Mother Nature where you can take shelter and have a moment of respite or where you can stop for a nice picnic (in this regard we invite you to always have the utmost respect for the environment and not to leave rubbish scattered around round).

It is for the most part equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas while one area is completely free and you can choose the point that most inspires you and spread out your towel to spend a quiet day at the beach. As for catering, on the beach there are a couple of excellent taverns where you can taste the delicacies of Greek and local cuisine. At about two hundred meters instead the small agglomeration made of low white houses in the classic Cycladic style that offers small cafes, typical restaurants and all modern comforts.

For a moment of pause, it is interesting to pay a visit to the church overlooking the thriving whitewashed bay so that in some hours of the day it is almost blindingly dating back to the nineteenth century, or if you are fond of trekking and walking, you can venture towards the mountains where there are paths that will take you to places with breathtaking panoramic views and where to discover the interior of the territory.

The Agios Sostis beach is suitable for a relaxing holiday and where to get lost for whole days in nature enjoying a magnificent sea. We would like to specify that during the high season the area is quite crowded but given its size it is not stuffy and you will not be on top of each other.

Direction south east, from the Chora arrive at Avenue Alavanos and at the crossroads turn right and then follow the signs to the beach. As always, in order to be as independent as possible, we recommend renting a scooter or a car.

If on the other hand, you have decided not to drive or rent anything for your holiday in Greece, there is no problem, local buses arrive to Agios Sostis from the main tourist resorts, just pay attention to the timetables to better organize your trip out of town.
