Agia Anna Beach also called Agali, we find it in the north east part of the beautiful Evia Island about seventy kilometers from Chalcis the capital.

Refusing to surrender, all the people died as a result of the fire started by the Osmanics as a sign of punishment. Among the victims there were also the three children of Boulivineas, a woman from the village who had to witness the tragedy helpless and in order not to end up in the hands of the usurpers, she committed suicide by jumping off the cliff.

And finally it is worth taking a trip to the petrified forest of Kerasia about fourteen kilometers inland from the village of Agia Anna. A natural monument made of petrified logs up to twenty meters high dated between ten and fifteen million years ago. Scientists also found remains of large mammals such as the two-horned rhinoceros and the low-necked giraffe.
