Opposite the beautiful and unique Mavrovounio beach, probably the most beautiful in Laconia, near Gytheio, is our newly built Elaianthos establishment.

An impressive two-story stone building, built in the architectural style of the Mani tower, overlooking the sea in front of the shores. Our accommodation includes six studios with separate entrance and unrestricted view of the sea and the islands of Kythira and Elafonisos are visible in the distance. Our visitors looking to the west can admire the Mani mountains and the enchanting Taygetos mountain range, while to the east they can observe the beautiful settlement of Mavrovounio with Goula castle situated on top. At night you can look up into the sky above Gytheio, where celestial objects are uniquely observed. This sky gave us the idea of naming all Elaianthos apartments in Kalamata, Mavrovouni and Mavrovouni beach after these constellations. These constellations will keep you company as you enjoy your drinks on your balconies at night.

The Elaianthos beachfront accommodation is set in a fifteen acre fenced olive grove and is connected by a road that passes through our other establishment which is located in the Mavrovounio plain.

Our guests can enjoy food and drink in the restaurants and bars on the beach or in three minutes by car they can be in the beautiful Gytheio.

Our location is ideally situated for day trips to Mani, its settlements, such as Areopoli, Oitylo, Gerolimena, medieval Vatheia, the beautiful Diros cave complex and its intriguing coves. Day trips to the unique Monemvasia, Neapoli and the wonderful Elafonisoss are also possible.

The studios on the ground floor or on the first floor of 25 square meters with an unrestricted view of the sea that can accommodate three people and people with disabilities. At Iridanos you can have fun sleeping on branded anatomic mattresses. You will enjoy all the comforts of a modern apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Among its amenities there are a silent inverter-type air conditioning and a soundproofed and thermally insulated apartment, a safe and an LCD flat screen TV with free Wi-Fi.
