Kassandra is the first phalanx of the beautiful Chalkidiki. A list of some of the most beautiful beaches to see during your holidays in Greece in this area where nature has perhaps given its best.
We have decided to divide the areas so it will be easier for you to choose which one to visit.
Let’s start with the West part of the Kassandra Peninsula:
Nea Skioni Beach
Right in the picturesque village is the beach of Nea Skioni, of fine sand and extremely clear waters. The coast is well organized with sunbeds and umbrellas and a wide choice of taverns, beach bars and shops. Recommended for families with children. Nearby for an alternative time a pretty little church to visit and near the thermal baths of Agia Paraskevi.
Siviri Beach
In the northwest part of Kassandra, there is Siviri Beach. It is a long sandy beach with a crystal blue sea with a shallow floor. Equipped with deckchairs, umbrellas, beach bars, shops and taverns where you can eat something typical of fresh seafood or grilled meat. Suitable for families with children.
Sani Beach
It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Kassandra, with white sand, shallow sea and turquoise. Ideal for families with children. The ideal place for a nice, fresh swim. The sunset on this beach is very impressive. The beach is equipped. Beneath Sani is the sandy Simantro beach with a sloping seabed and immersed in dense vegetation where silence reigns supreme.
Mola Kalyva Beach
Very quiet because a little bit isolated, Mola Kalyva is right near the Skioni village. It is a sandy beach and small pebbles with a crystal clear blue sea. The peculiarity of this beach is the magical pine forest behind it. Often beaten by the wind it is one of the favorite destinations for lovers of water sports such as windsurfing. Not equipped but nearby bars and taverns.
Mendi Beach
Mendi Beach about 2.5 km long is surrounded by greenery and shade, away from traffic and noise. Wide and sandy, it has a very clear sea with a beautiful turquoise color. Equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, they are available from the hotel bar overlooking the coast. On the left side there are flat stones while on the right side near the pier it is much more suitable if you have children for the coast. The area is interesting for the remains of an ancient sanctuary.
Possidi Beach
Located in one of the most famous villages of Kassandra, it is a sandy beach and in some points rocky with warm and shallow waters ideal for families with children. More than a kilometer long it has a crystal clear sea and turquoise color. This is a beach equipped with sun beds, bar umbrellas and taverns for a bite to eat for most of the length except the final part. In the immediate vicinity a lighthouse and the ancient ruins of the temple dedicated to the God Poseidon.
