Mylopotas Beach is the most famous beach on the island of Ios. It is located about two kilometers from the capital Chora in the western part about half of the island and is a real paradise, both from the naturalistic point of view and for the multitude of opportunities for the fun it offers.

The coast of about one kilometer, has soft white sand with an extremely clear and crystalline sea. Let's say it is not really suitable for families with children unless you decide to go in the morning when the people of the night are still in the Morpheus arms, maximum until noon because the Mylopotas beach is famous above all among young people who love high music and confusion. And yes, because while in the first part of the day it is very pleasant and silent, at lunchtime it begins to populate with many people.

The beach is super equipped and organized, as well as enjoying the sea and having a good swim, it is a real meeting point for playing beach volleyball, trying out aquatic games such as windsurfing, canoeing, banana always under the watchful eye of lifeguards. In the surrounding area a wide choice of beach bars, taverns, shops where you can eat something.

In the afternoon the Farout Beach Club, a famous beach club in the area, comes alive with people who want to party dancing at a slow pace until sunset which is a real spectacle of nature, and then move on to the inevitable aperitif and prepare for the evening in one of the many places that the island of Ios offers.

Mylopotas we say that it is a beach for those who do not have much interest in discovering the island but want to focus their holidays in Greece on the nightlife but which, however, deserves to be experienced and tested.
