I’m a little excited writing  because our whole adventure started from Mummy’s Cooking, from total falling in love for Greece to all the things that have turned our lives upside down making us get where we are now.

Beyond our sentimental attachment to this restaurant, it’s a place to try if you are going to be in Greece for your holidays in Kos because it’s worth it.

A typical tavern where Evdokia the mom still wakes up early in the morning to prepare moussaka or pasticcio, where seasonality is still followed, and where the products are always fresh during the day. A varied menu with lots of mezedes (appetizer), classic Greek dishes, fish, meat and if Evodkia has time,  will prepare also a home sweet made for you!

Ilias the son, a histrionic character instead, takes care of pampering guests and giving advice on what to eat especially if it is the first time you enjoy Greek cuisine. Fun and very helpful, at the end of the meal you will feel like you have been in your favorite restaurant because Ilias’ genuineness and whit a good humor are contagious and will make you feel at home.

The prices are great they have a good value for money. In summer we recommend you to book because the place is small and everyone wants to go to Mummy’s Cooking!
