Makronissos beach is located in the north-eastern part of the multifaceted Cyprus Island, about five kilometers from the lively tourist resort of Ayia Napa, a popular destination especially for young people and those who love to party non-stop.

If during the day you feel like taking a walk, you can find Vathia Gonia beach to the east and Agia Thekla beach to the west. For archeology enthusiasts, in the area where the Makronissos beach is located, the ancient necropolis where you can admire nineteen tombs of the Hellenistic and Roman period carved into the rock.
Awarded every year by the Blue Flag, Makronissos beach is suitable for all people who do not want to give up a screaming sea, comfort but without decibels at maximum power in the ears.
It is very simple, always through a comfortable road.
From Larnaca. Take the A3 and exit at Σωτηρα, then follow the road to Agia Thekla and you will be there in no time.
From Nicosia. Take the A3 towards Ayia Napa exit at Σωτηρα, then follow the road to Agia Thekla.
From Protaras. Take the E306 and reach the A3 towards Larnaca exit at Σωτηρα, then follow the road to Agia Thekla.
If, on the other hand, you have decided not to hire a vehicle, there is a public bus service from the major seaside resorts. The right stop is Agia Thekla and from there in a few minutes you can reach Makronissos Beach.
