Kalamtisi beach, we find it in the southern part of Kimolos island, about four kilometers from the Psathi Port. Not far away, a hundred meters away, another splendid coast to spend a day at sea, Bonatsa beach.

Kalamitsi beach is not equipped, only nature in the wild and for those who love to stay in contact with the universe. In the immediate vicinity, however, there are beach bars and typical taverns where you can find something quick to eat or if you prefer, get comfortable with your legs under the table and taste the local delicacies and classic Greek cuisine.

It is very popular and consequently in the high season highly sought after by both day visitors and those who decide to spend their holidays in Greece directly on the island of Kimolos.

Since Kimolos is not very big, it is very suitable for visiting it on foot. From the port of Psathi it takes about forty minutes to reach Kalamitsi beach. If, on the other hand, you are autonomous with a rental vehicle, head south and following the road signs you will arrive in about ten minutes. By public transport instead starting from Chorio rather than from Psahi the stop is for Bonatsa beach which is two hundred meters from the Kalamitsi coast. Last chance by sea, maybe by renting a small boat so as to be able to touch other beaches or with a baot taxi.

It could be a valid excuse to be able to visit more parts of the coast by combining other beautiful coasts to be included in the list of things to do in Kimolos.
