Faliraki beach is found in the north eastern part of the Rhodes island about fifteen kilometers from the capital Rhodes Town.
Faliraki is one of the most requested tourist destinations by travelers because in addition to its very favorable position, it offers immense beaches, bars, restaurants, hotels, landlords and any kind of comfort for a holiday.
It is very popular with a young audience as it has a wide choice of night and day entertainment venues with pubs where you can dance all evening or party on the beach. However, it is also very suitable for families for the services offered.
The coast is mainly made up of soft golden sand with some pebbles, framed by trees where you can find some natural shade during the hot sunny days and is bathed by a transparent blue sea. The seabed drops slowly making it ideal for families with children and for lovers of long swims.
It is very well equipped, with sun beds and umbrellas for around € 10 per day, a large selection of water sports such as windsurfing, water skiing and games to play with family or friends, several beach bars, cafes, typical taverns where you can taste the dishes of classic Greek and international cuisine and gourmet restaurants where to delight the palates.
During the high season it is a little overcrowded but if you want a little more quiet and relaxation, not far away is the Kathara Bay, a small fishing port with a sandy beach of about three hundred meters awarded with the blue flag for the clarity of the waters where the little ones can have fun and the adults enjoy a well deserved rest. The central and southern part of the beach has some rocks so it would be better to have rock shoes. The arsenal is bordered by palm trees that provide shade. There is no shortage of bars and taverns to drink or eat something.
Very simple, with your own vehicle just follow the signs for the village, by public transport, from Rhodes city every day at different times there are buses that lead directly to the town.
Despite being one of the most chaotic beaches on the Rhodes island, mark it as one of the places to visit it is really very nice and fun.
