The Agia Irini Beach, we find it in the southwestern part of the Paros Island about four kilometers away from the capital Paroikia.

A beautiful bay that welcomes the Agia Irini beach, a narrow strip of medium-grained golden sand, clear and transparent waters, a blue and turquoise sea with a seabed that descends slowly, perfect for families with children where the little ones can play in total safety.

The natural context of Agia Irini beach is almost reminiscent of a tropical place as it is surrounded by lush vegetation made of palm trees that is very reminiscent of the exotic destinations that we all dream of for a holiday. It is equipped with a few sun beds and umbrellas, there are not many given its small size so the rule is that those who arrive first are better accommodated.

As for the restaurant, there are two typical taverns where you can taste the dishes based on fresh products of the classic Greek and local cuisine. However, if you are a DIY lover, you can find your niche, spread out your towel and enjoy a wonderful sunny day and during the hottest hours, take shelter under the large palm trees for a moment of refreshment.Actually the Agia Irini beach has two areas separated by some rocks which are ideal for snorkelers where it is possible to explore the fish fauna and flora. Even diving enthusiasts will find in this bay a very interesting environment to be discovered.

In the north with shallow waters and with a sandy bottom there is a tavern open in the summer and a small chapel dedicated to St. George, in the south instead also known as Palm Beach the beach becomes even narrower and is bordered by a classic dry stone wall, also made of sand but also has some rocks.It owes its name to the small church dedicated to Saint. Irini which is located just a short distance above a gentle hill, a small sanctuary with a blinding white color with its typical blue dome which, like a sentinel, watches over the whole bay.Agia Irini beach is very popular especially with locals and during the high season it fills up quite quickly due to its small size, so overcrowding is almost guaranteed. If you want to enjoy this little corner of paradise without too many people, we advise you to get there either early in the morning, or in the late afternoon.

For those who want to stay in direct contact with nature, just behind the beach, there is a campsite hidden in a grove of palm trees and olive trees where you can pitch your tent or park your camper and have all the necessary services. There are no public routes that arrive in Agia Irini, so the only solutions are either with your own rental vehicle which can be a car or scooter, or with a taxi and finally for lovers of long walks with a walk from Parikia more or less six kilometers.
