Kimolos Island is very small, covering an area of just 40 square kilometers and is a real jewel.

Of volcanic origin, it has mountainous areas, white cliffs and small coves where you can spend hours of relaxation. Its name in Greek means gypsum material that is exported from the island and also by virtue of the color of its houses which are no longer white ‘, almost blinding. The population made up of about eight hundred permanent inhabitants, is mainly involved in fishing and although Kimolos is not so rich in vegetation, in the cultivation of olives and wine that you absolutely must not get lost when you go there.

You can opt for either rental in Milos or at the Kimolos port there are some rent a car or rent a motorbike where you can rent them and enjoy this wonderful island.

There is a bus service but not so frequent so check carefully the information, timetables and routes. There is also a taxi service on the island which will be able to satisfy any need but obviously has different costs compared to a rental.
