In the northwest part of the Lefkada island, about fifteen kilometers from the capital and close to the characteristic Agios Nikitas village, we find Kathisma Beach.

It is a long beach (they say the most beautiful on the island) with soft white sand and a spectacular sea with an intense turquoise color. Surrounded by green hills despite being the beach preferred by young people for the possibility of a wide choice of games and water sports and for the parties organized by the clubs on the coast, it still gives a feeling of isolation and peace.

Be careful when there is wind because the sea creates big waves and can become dangerous if you are not a good swimmer. Also ideal for families with children on flat calm days.

It is equipped with countless sunbeds, umbrellas and offers a variety of choice between typical taverns, beach bars and cafés for something fresh and to fill the hole in the stomach that usually the sea provides. Reaching Kathisma is very easy from any point of the island because the beach is located not far from the main road. It also has a large free car park.

Among the various famous clubs we find the Copla with a long row of sunbeds and a swimming pool corner where after 4pm DJ sets are organized with the most famous Greek and international deejays.

In the vicinity of Kathisma Beach, the picturesque Agios Nikitas village that we recommend you visit and stop in one of its taverns overlooking the sea to enjoy excellent fresh fish.
