Psili Ammos Beach Samos

The beautiful and popular Psili Ammos Beach, we find it in the south east part of the green Samos Island about twelve kilometers from the capital Vathy which is instead to the north.

Let's start by specifying that on the Samos island there are two beaches called Psili Ammos which in Greek means fine sand, one of which we will talk about, the other is located on the opposite side about five kilometers from Marathokampos.

If you want to combine business with pleasure, about six kilometers away there is another coast to see absolutely, the Posidonio Beach a quiet cove with emerald waters but that's another story.

The Psili Ammos beach is less than a kilometer from the Turkish coast that almost seems to be able to touch it and is one of the few beaches that have sand, most of the beaches of Samos in fact consist of pebbles or stones.

As with all the Greek Islands, our advice is to rent a rental vehicle. Given the size of the island which is not small, a car that will take you everywhere would be better. So wherever you have decided to stay, the direction is south east following the main road and the signs.

As for public transport, let's say that they are not really comfortable, most of the rides serve the main towns and hardly arrive near the beaches or villages that host them.
