Mykali Beach Samos

We find Mykali beach in the south-eastern part of the green Samos island about ten kilometers from the lively tourist resort and capital Vathy. Nearby the picturesque village of Psili Ammos with its equally beautiful beach.

A coastline three kilometers long but on the other hand quite narrow, a sort of vast tongue of beach made up of small flat stones and in some places also of soft sand, bathed by clear, crystalline and always very calm waters thanks to its position in a stupendous bay, a sea that goes from turquoise to blue from the depths that go down quite quickly and that near the shore are pebbles and then become sandy going out to sea, so if you have small children have an extra eye.

Although Mykali beach is well known by visitors, it still remains untouched and almost intact but above all it will be very difficult to find yourself on top of each other thanks to its large space.

Also take into account another peculiarity of this beach, its waters are quite cold as there are currents that pass through the strait that separates Samos from the minor Asian coast (Turkey) which is just one kilometer and two hundred meters away and will almost seem be able to touch it.
