Gennadi Beach Rhodes

Gennadi beach is located in the southeast part of the Rhodes island, about sixty kilometers from the capital and twelve from the picturesque and irresistible Lindos village.

A long expanse of round pebbles with a thousand colors that stretches for about six kilometers until you reach another pearl of Rhodes, Prassonissi Beach. It is bathed by a crystal clear sea, with iridescent colors with warm waters and the seabed, with sand mixed with pebbles, goes down rapidly, therefore not very suitable for families with small children. One of the very pleasant things is the fact that as soon as you put your feet in the water, fleets of small fish will come to do your pedicure, a natural scrub as if you were in a spa or in one of those very famous centers in the islands for the care of end. Another advantage of the very therapeutic Gennadi beach is to walk on the shoreline where the hot stones provide a beneficial foot massage.

It is equipped but not very much, the free parts are more than those with the comforts that are not lacking anyway and two sunbeds + umbrella are at a cost of about € 8 per day. Behind the beach there is the picturesque village with a wide choice of restaurants, taverns with classic octopuses hung out to dry in the sun, cafés and mini markets. A large free car park will be at your disposal to safely leave your vehicle.

Given the vastness of the coast, it is not very crowded by virtue of the fact that there is so much space, thus giving days of relaxation and to fully enjoy the sea life. However, Gennadi beach is also very popular with young people as numerous events are organized with parties where the romantic and inevitable bonfire is almost always there and with DJ sets for dancing and romping until late at night.

It is almost incredible to have so much peace and serenity on Gennadi Beach if you think that one of the most populated and popular areas for tourists is the splendid Lindos.

So why add to the list of things to do in Rhodes this little corner where Nature still reigns supreme? First for the sea that is truly beautiful, second because you could organize the day by taking advantage of the fact that it is located halfway between two other unmissable places on the island of Rhodes such as Prassonissi where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea a unique and rare phenomenon or, get lost in the alleys or visit the Acropolis or why not get away on the beach in the fantastic Bay of Saint Paul.

Coming from Rhodes in about an hour by car you can reach it following the signs for Lindos.
