Traganou Beach Rhodes

The beautiful Traganou beach, we find it in the north east part of the Rhodes island about fifteen kilometers from the capital between the  Afandou village and that of Faliraki.

A beach off the beaten track of mass tourism, is an excellent alternative for a relaxing day and to admire the wonderful nature.

A not very long coast of small white pebbles with sometimes shades of pink and bathed by a sea of a bright turquoise color that changes to cobalt blue with crystal clear waters. The seabed also pebbles degrades for a few meters and is ideal for lovers of long swims and snorkelers, they can have a great time discovering the laughing marine fauna.If you are not a good fakir and you have sensitive feet, we advise you to bring some rock shoes so that you can fully enjoy the day.

It is equipped only for a part with sunbeds and umbrellas (the cost is about € 10 per day), showers and public toilets, while for the most part it is completely free so if you decide to spend a day in this little corner of paradise equip yourself to shelter above all from the warm Rhodes sun. Close to the beach there is a small tavern where you can enjoy fresh fish dishes and traditional Greek cuisine.

It's really very easy, just follow the road signs for the Afandou village and you're done. It can be reached by any means from the car to the scooter.
