Kremasti Beach Rhodes

Kremasti Beach is located in the south west part of the Rhodes island about twelve kilometers from the capital in a quarter of an hour by car or scooter you can get there safely.

Being on the west coast of the island, the wind here is almost always present in fact it is one of the most requested places for kitesurfing and windsurfing lovers.

It is a mainly pebble beach so not really suitable for children or for those with delicate feet in this regard we always recommend the rock shoes, the sea is blue and crystal clear, but the seabed drops quickly.

It is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas at a cost of around € 10 (2022) per day and there are some kiosks for something fresh to drink or eat. In the nearby village a wide choice of restaurant and typical taverns, bars and shops for shopping.

Kremasti beach is practically the continuation of Ialyssos beach but is usually less crowded and chaotic than the others.

In Kremasti, especially in the summer months of June, July and August, the wind is almost always constant, blowing on the left side and offers the best conditions for having fun with kitesurfing or windsurfing. The outside temperature is around 30 degrees and even the water is not cold so even if you lose your table and you are forced to swim it won't be a big problem. Given the depth of the waters, however, it is not recommended if you are not a perfect swimmer or beginner in these types of sports.

It offers a relaxation area on the lower floor and a beautiful terrace where you can admire the stunts of the sportsmen and relax. Here you will find the best rental equipment, showers and changing rooms. An expert and attentive team offers support and rescue service (the latter for a fee).

Simple, from Rhodes Town follow the main road and driving directions. If you do not have your own vehicle, a bus service is available from Rhodes Town.
