Tsoulakia Beach Paros

2 minutes to read

The paradisiacal Tsoulakia Beach, we find it in the north-eastern part of the Paros Island, about ten kilometers from the sophisticated resort of Naoussa and about twenty kilometers from the lively Parikia the capital.

Just below the hill of Antikefalos and between Ampela beach and the Molo beach, it has a long coastline made of sand and pebbles, crystal clear and transparent waters, a sea with changing colors that go from blue to turquoise to blue intense and depths that go down quite quickly.

Given its position right at the entrance to the Paros channel, it is often subject to the Meltemi wind from the cool north that adores the Cyclades Islands and often visits it, making the days dedicated to pure idleness under the warm rays quite difficult. solar.

You come to Tsoulakia beach for two reasons, when Aeolus is asleep to enjoy the magnificence of the wild nature that surrounds it, in fact, here the comforts are not at all equipped and the human presence is completely banned, only a few stone houses and some trees of tamarisk where to find shelter in the hottest hours for the rest nothing. If you want to spend the whole day there, remember that you absolutely must bring everything you need from something to drink, to eat and lots of sunscreen rather than a headgear.

On the other hand, when the God of the wind is particularly active, the Tsoulakia beach becomes a paradise for lovers of surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing as spectacular waves are formed, all to ride and where to have fun until you drop. In recent years, this beach has in fact become a bit of an obligatory destination when the weather conditions allow it, a sort of meeting point for all sports lovers of these disciplines who come from all over the world.

From the beach of Tsoulakia you can clearly see the great Naxos Island with its wild coasts and you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets on the Paros island when the sky and the sea play to mix colors with warm scents that they warm even the most icy hearts. Even the sunrise has a very special charm, so if you are an early riser or for once you want to enjoy one of the most beautiful spectacles of Nature, check the time when the sun is expected to rise and sit down to admire with only the noise of the sea a new day.

Between Tsoulakia beach and Ampela beach there are two intimate coves Plakoto and Argiakas of sand mixed with pebbles where you can find your little piece of Eden.

How to get to Tsoulakia Beach

As with most of the dream beaches of the Greek Islands, access is possible only if in possession of a rental vehicle, regardless of whether it is a motorcycle or car, it is the only way to reach it.

If on the other hand, you are among the lucky ones to have a boat or you will be able to rent one, you can get there but always pay attention to the power of the wind that when it blows does not make the waters so navigable and above all it is difficult to moor.

Tsoulakia beach certainly deserves to be included among the things to see in Paros, a moment of close contact with Nature for a day of relaxation and absolute simplicity.
