Lageri Beach Paros

The secret Lageri beach also called Laggeri beach, we find it in the north east part of the beautiful Paros Island about six kilometers from the lively town of Naoussa and to give you another point of reference, just before the famous Santa Maria beach.

A small corner of hidden paradise and when we explain how to get there you will understand why, made up of a soft sand coast with transparent and clear waters, a blue sea that is almost always calm since its position protects it from the Meltemi from the fresh wind of the north that blows often and willingly on the Cyclades Islands.

The landscape of the Laggeri beach is fantastic, sweet dunes interspersed with Mediterranean scrub bushes and fragrant cedar trees, a still primitive and intact nature where you can spend pleasant hours of lazing around and with only the sound of the sea.

It goes without saying that it is not equipped at all, if you decide to stay there for a whole day during your holiday in Paros, remember to bring everything you need, from something to drink and to eat and lots of sunscreen.

Given its location, Lageri beach is never crowded on the contrary, you may meet only a few people but above all lovers of naturism who, away from prying eyes, will be able to fully experience their choice of life. In recent years it has also become one of the favorite destinations for the gay and LGTB community as privacy is absolutely guaranteed and also by free campers who want to spend their holidays in Greece in total freedom and admire the wonders of Mother Nature as a glittering starry sky.

It should be noted that to the south of Lageri beach a sort of sandy corridor that joins the mainland with a small hill will take you to the part where kitesurf lovers can have fun in acrobatic jumps, while the western part is much quieter and offers a scenario of rare beauty that will make you travel with your imagination to the point of believing you are in an exotic place rather than in Greece.

Here you will understand why Lageri beach is considered a sort of Eden on earth. You have three ways to reach it, the fastest one is for sure with your own vehicle or scooter. So towards Noussa, pass the Santa Maria beach, until the end of the road where you have to leave the vehicle and then continue on foot through a narrow rocky path for about ten minutes.

By sea instead starting from Noussa, there is a boat that shuttles three times a day and here make sure you have understood the times, otherwise you will sleep under the celestial stars on the beach.

Last chance for those who are not independent, by bus. Always starting from Naoussa take the bus towards the Santa Maria beach where, among other things, there is also a beautiful organized campsite perfect for a total free holiday and ask the driver to drop you off near the beach which you will always reach with a walk.
