Agrari Beach Mykonos

Agrari beach is located in the southern part of the Mykonos island about ten kilometers from the capital Mykonos Town.

Attached to the much more well known and popular Elia beach, Agrari beach thanks to its position, on the other hand, remains much quieter even in the high season, thus offering privacy and relaxation for those who do not like particularly crowded coasts and noisy that the Mykonos island offers in abundance.

Agrari beach, about two hundred and fifty meters long, is made up of large-grained sand with a light color and it is wet, needless to say, I think you will have understood it by a transparent, clean and turquoise colored sea. The seabed has rocks, so for your own good, bring shoes to keep from slipping or hurting yourself. Around the pretty bay there are many rocks where the marine fauna is particularly flourishing and for snorkeking lovers it is a real paradise.

Although it is quite secluded and not quite so easy to reach, Agrari beach has a completely free stretch where you can spread your towel and enjoy the warm Greek sun even completely deshabille 'practically naked since the coast is one of the most loved by naturalists. Most of the beach, on the other hand, is well equipped with two beaches that offer straw beds and umbrellas typical of the Mykonos island at much lower prices than the other beaches of Myknos, starting from 8 to 20 €. Also as regards catering, it offers various possibilities, from complete lunches based on fresh products and classic Mediterranean or international cuisine, to quick snacks and colorful cocktails directly under your parasol. At the center of the beach tamarisk trees that give a cool shade during the hottest hours.

Twenty meters on the right side of Agrari beach there is an ancient still covered up in the sea that you can touch during a swim but be rusty and sharp, do not get too close to avoid injuring yourself.

On the beach there is also a center for nautical activities where you can have fun together with your family or friends.

As we said before, Agrari beach is just attached to Elia beach which can be reached on foot through a dirt path that connects them.

Considering the fact that the Agrari beach is one of the quietest and therefore highly sought after by those who want a day in peace, obviously reaching it is not so easy but still feasible. There are local bus services that arrive at nearby Elia Beach, from there through a dirt path between the rocks in five minutes you can reach it. There are also taxi boats from Ornos beach rather than from Platis Gialos beach which are connected to Agrari Beach every day from 10 in the morning to 10 in the evening. Last alternative with your own vehicle for a slightly rough and unpaved road, better to have a 4x4.

Agrari beach is certainly one of the most peaceful places and only this must be enough to insert it in your travel itinerary of things to see in Mykonos.
