Provatas Beach Milos

Provatas beach, we find it in the southern part of the beautiful Milos Island right where it becomes narrower about nine kilometers from the lively and elegant Adamas Town.

In a beautiful bay and between Agios Sostis beach on its left and Firiplaka beach on its right, it has a long sandy beach with a particular color that pulls on reddish orange, clear, transparent and particularly warm waters, a blue sea with a flat and sandy bottom that slopes gently so as to be a real natural playground for families with children where children can have fun and play in total safety while adults can blissfully enjoy a quiet sunny day.

Behind it, imposing multicolored rock formations divide it from Firiplaka beach, protecting it from the winds in fact, here it will be very difficult to find waves or a rough sea. It is well equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas at a cost of about € 6 per day, while as regards the restaurant, you will be spoiled for choice among the typical taverns that offer dishes based on fresh fish, local recipes or the classic Greek cuisine.

Also as regards accommodation, in the Provatas beach area, there is a large hotel complex, the Golden Milos Beach Hotel and other solutions such as simple rooms for rent. In short, you will also have the opportunity to spend your holiday in Milos, staying directly near the beach and having all the amenities at your fingertips without too much travel.

Being well known and appreciated for its services, during the high season it is not difficult to find it particularly crowded, if you want to enjoy it a little in peace we advise you to go there early in the morning rather than in the late afternoon.

A very suggestive natural context even if very different from the other beaches of Milos which perhaps are characterized by their unique geological surroundings, but which in the same way can give you unforgettable days of sunshine, fun and relaxation.

It may happen that sometimes the coast is covered by some algae brought during the night by the surf or a storm, but don't worry, don't worry it is a natural phenomenon that happens everywhere remember that it is impossible to have the shoreline as clean as a swimming pool every day. just move or decide to return the next day and everything will be clean and easy. We would like to underline that even with the presence of aquatic plants, the water is still transparent and clean.

Very simple, you have two ways. The first if you are autonomous and have a rental vehicle that is a car or scooter, keeping the Adamas village as a reference point, head south following the road signs. Once you arrive you will find a large free parking lot where you can leave your four wheels or your moped.

If on the other hand, you have opted for a more peaceful holiday without a guide, from Adamas there are regular buses every day with different trips that for about € 2 each way will take you comfortably to your destination.
