The Vathy Rema beach, we find it beautiful north east part of the lively of Ios lsand exactly between the towns of Plakes and Psathi.

Also called the secret beach, reaching it is not so easy and perhaps for this reason it also has this name which gives it even more that aura of mystery.

A small bay divided into two small beaches, the largest has a coastline of soft white sand with crystal clear and crystal clear waters, a sea that goes from turquoise to deep blue. The second, on the other hand, has several rock formations.

Behind it gentle hills covered with low vegetation of Mediterranean scrub, so not even the shadow can be found on the Vathy Rema beach, so hat or sunshade in your backpack unless there is lizard blood in your DNA and that all the day under the warm rays of the sun may not be a torture for you but rather a blessing.

The Vathi Rema beach, is well known and frequented by naturists, it will not be difficult to find it as highly recommended in the list of nudist beaches in Greece. Let's say that the still intact and overwhelmingly wild nature and its very sheltered position make it ideal for those who love to enjoy their holiday in Ios in total freedom, without taboos and with total privacy.

We always remember that although Greece is the cradle of democracy, nudism is not that well seen, it is tolerated in areas where there is not so much crowding of people, but it remains for the purposes of the law always and in any case prohibited.

As I mentioned at the beginning, the Vathy Rema beach is not really for everyone given its not very convenient location.

Impossible to get there with a vehicle! So up to a certain point you can get there and in this case it must necessarily be rented there are no public bus lines that lead nearby, and then take a nice walk through a path completely under the sun but that will give you the opportunity to discover the territory of this small and wonderful island.

The second alternative, the decidedly more "comfortable" one, is by sea with a boat. If you are among the lucky ones to be on holiday in Greece by boat, it will be very easy, or you can rent a dinghy privately.
