Everyone now knows, the Ios Island is well known for its wild and transgressive nightlife, in fact most of its visitors are young people ranging from 18 to after 30 for the diehards, but despite this perennially party atmosphere made up of parties that never end, it also manages to give away small pearls where the only sound is that of the waves of the sea.

A remote, isolated, quiet beach with an almost desert and extremely wild landscape but with an almost exotic flavor where Mother Nature still reigns supreme and man has not managed to get his hand on it and we hope he never does sincerely.

Of course zero comfort, no sunbeds, umbrellas or beach bars, here nothing is absolute, so if you decide to spend a few hours or the whole day there during your holiday in Ios, be aware that you will have to bring everything you need, from water a food to something to shelter you from the sun as there are no trees or shaded areas to take refuge during the hottest hours.

The best time to enjoy such beauty is surely the sunset.The view from this beach is wonderful, it offers extraordinary views of the Aegean and at sunset the sky and sea take on painter's palette colors with warm tones that you can hardly forget.

It is very simple, first of all you need to specify that you need to have a rental vehicle or use a taxi, there is no public transport arriving in this area.

With a car or a moped, even better a quad, just keeping the Chora as a reference point, head north west and just before the Diamoudia beach, you will find this enchanting bay and the Loretzena beach.

For the more sporty, on the other hand, you can also do it on foot, five kilometers are enough to have good will, water to hydrate well, a hat and suitable shoes.

There is little to add or explain about the Loretzena beach it is a real oasis of peace where there is nothing and consequently there is no further information to know, it is certain that it would be a shame to miss it so, enter it among the things to see in Ios will be a little relaxing parenthesis with an extraordinary nature.
