It depends on what you are looking for, if calm and relaxation the months of June - September and October are the best to fully enjoy an unspoiled island, the calm of a summer not yet in full swing. If you are looking for a bit of life, July and August are more suitable for finding some places along the sea or traditional folk dance festivals. There are no discos, nor anything that could make one think of the social life of other islands, only some dance in the middle of the street or lute players who mention oriental music. The beaches are immense and give everyone the opportunity to choose between free and paid, even in the most considerable periods of tourism, you can fully experience the sea. Despite his small stature he manages to contain within himself places for all tastes.

For me all the gold in the world, but I have a visceral love. I have traveled a lot in my life and I can say that I can also have an objective observation. Elafonissos is worth your trip, but this also reported by the laziest of my guests, after the hours of the road a dip in those crystal clear waters, a walk in that velvet sand, a nice meal based on white wine and fresh fish, pays off the journey and then you know: Waiting increases desire.On the contrary, I hope they never build a closer airport, to keep it and make it remain so authentic, not exploited by mass and discounted tourism.
