Ammos Tou Kambouri Beach Cyprus

And here we are in a small corner of Eden off the tourist trail, the Ammos Tou Kambouri Beach.

We find it in the north-eastern part of the cosmopolitan Cyprus Island, a small natural bay wedged between the sea caves of Ayia Napa and the Natural Park of Capo Greco about a couple of kilometers from the charming and famous town of Ayia Napa, mecca of fun and wonderful beaches where you can spend beautiful days at sea.

A coastline that extends for just a hundred meters, made of fine sand mixed with pebbles, bathed by clean and transparent waters, a sea with a turquoise blue color up to an intense blue towards the open sea with a seabed that does not go down immediately but which however presents stone slabs therefore not really suitable for children and people with mobility problems.

Ammos Tou Kambouri beach has recently been refurbished by the municipality of Ayia Napa which wants to relaunch the area even more, making it comfortable and exclusive. New high-strength Iroko solid wood sunbeds and new umbrellas have been added but much more comfortable than the previous ones or those that can be found in other beaches, with that modern touch and let's face it a little fashion. However, the cost of renting has remained the same and is around € 2.50, nothing compared to the service.

It is also equipped with toilets, changing rooms, lifeguards with rescue vehicles that patrol the beach in the months of April May September and October from 9.00 to 17.00 while in June, July and August the months when the island of Cyprus swarms with visitors from 10.00 to 18.00 with the task of making bathing safe and spending pleasant hours being kissed by the warm rays of the sun. For the more sporty, there is no shortage of water activities to try their hand at new disciplines and to challenge old or new friends. As for catering, you can find a small minimarket that has everything you need, a snack bar for something quick to eat and a cafeteria for a refreshing drink.

On the sides, rock formations that can be the amusement park for snorkelers who can go in search of marine flora and fauna. Given the conformation, small natural pools have also formed where you can enjoy moments of relaxation under the sun. Behind there are some trees for a bit of shade but being few, the usual rule of who first arrives, better lodges always applies.

It is not difficult at all but sometimes it is difficult to find, perhaps it is also for this reason that it is one of the few beaches where you can get away from everything and enjoy only peace and nature.

You can opt for three solutions, the first the most comfortable with a car or scooter exiting AyaNapa in an easterly direction until you reach a dirt road that then leads directly to the beach where you will find a parking space to leave your vehicle.

For lovers of walking, on the other hand, always from Ayia Napa, there is the beautiful coastal path that in about twenty minutes will lead you to the destination. Finally, by public transport, from Ayia Napa there are buses that can leave you near the Ammos Tou Kambouri beach and then get there with a short walk.

A perfect coast for a moment of tranquility with all the most modern comforts where you can forget everything, switch off your brain and recharge your batteries. For this alone to be included among the things to see in Cyprus!
