Lassi Village Kefalonia

Lassi village is located just behind the capital Argostoli about three kilometers away. A purely tourist resort, do not expect the classic Greek village with white houses, here everything is modern, a kilometer of coastal road with shops, restaurants, taverns, bars, mini markets and nightlife spots.

You can find many small beaches and pretty bays that offer tranquility and privacy given the small size (and as always we say who comes first, better lodges) all with dream waters. The two most popular ones are Makris Gialos beach and Platis Gialos beach.

The first is right near Argostoli and the sea takes on emerald shades. The seabed drops slowly, perfect for families with children and lovers of long swims. The coast is of fine clear sand mixed with pebbles. One part is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, water sports and all the services for a day of relaxation considering also the fact that its position shelters it from the wind. On the sides, rocks and rocks perfect for snorkelers and behind gentle hills full of vegetation that make the landscape spectacular. You can get there either with your own vehicle or even on foot with a pleasant walk.

Platis Gialos beach is also near Argostoli in the northern part on the west side just after Makris Gialos beach. Fine golden sand with deep blue transparent waters that gently slope down the perfect location for a day of tanning and swimming. On the sides of the rock walls where you can go in search of marine fauna. It is equipped for a while with sun beds, umbrellas and a picturesque beach bar where you can find something to drink or eat. A concrete platform where there are rocks is an ideal place to spread out your towel and be kissed by the Hellenic sun. A part, on the other hand, is completely free, here you can put yourself how and where you prefer, so whatever position you choose you will spend a day in total relaxation because the beach of Platis Gialos is much quieter than Makris Gialos. Reaching it is very simple just follow the signs and if you are with your own vehicle, a large free parking will be at your disposal. The road leading to the beach has views of caves dug out of the sandstone by time, a very beautiful and particular vision that mother nature gives us.
