Emplisi o Emblisi Beach Kefalonia

Emplisi or Emblisi beach (it is called in both ways) is located in the north east part of the beautiful Kefalonia island, close to the picturesque fishing village of Fiskardo.

An enchanting small bay with a pebble coast and small white pebbles, bathed by a clear and crystalline sea with intense turquoise that at times is also colored with emerald. All around like a loving embrace a dense vegetation of trees that make Emplisi beach an open-air painting. Some flat rocks around the beach are an excellent alternative for sunbathing. The seabed is rich in marine fauna and will be a real fun for snorkelers where they can splash around with the fish and explore the underwater world.

Emplisi is well known for its incredible beauty and consequently in the high season it can become a little crowded, but the secret is to get there early in the morning to be able to enjoy this spectacular corner of the island of Kefalonia in peace and enjoying yourself the only noise present is that of the sea.

It is not equipped, no sunbeds and umbrellas, so bring everything you need to be comfortable. For all those who do not like to bask in the sun all day, on the central side to the right, a pretty cove with trees to shelter from the hot Greek sun.

A kiosk and a tavern are present as the only signs of modern civilization where you can provide yourself with something to drink or something to eat. In the tavern traditional local dishes based on fresh fish admiring the sea and what more could you want?

Is easy, just follow the road signs and when you arrive at your destination, you will find a small parking lot where you can leave your vehicle and run immediately to take a dip.
