Taverna Manolis, is located in Skala, the most extreme tip south of the beautiful Kefalonia island and is managed by Mr. Vaggelis Kallinteris.
Opened in 1988, it has passed from generation to generation up to Vaggelis who today together with his family manages this typical Greek tavern with a welcoming and extremely informal atmosphere.
Vaggelis has a fundamental value and is to surround yourself with close relatives and close friends for the success of your business, because love for work and respect for people is everything and is the secret to having harmony and transmitting to your guests the passion for catering that feeds the entire staff.
The dishes offered are all prepared with fresh ingredients. The vegetables are grown in their garden and the animals are raised directly by the family. In the peak period, however, they are unable to meet the requests, therefore they rely on local farmers. The menu is basically seasonal, what Nature offers is served on the table.
The Taverna Manolis workhorse is definitely the grilled meat, in cooking coal barbecues they have years and years of experience. The grilled meat for 2 full of everything and more, according to many guests, is one of the most extraordinary dishes. Even fish lovers will be delighted with a wide choice ranging from the classic grilled octopus to the sea bream with prawns.
