Siviri Beach Halkidiki Peninsula

The Siviri Beach, we find it in the first phalanx of the Chalkidiki Peninsula which is called Kassandra in the Gulf of Thermi. About ninety-five kilometers away is the capital of Central Macedonia, Thessaloniki.

The village of Siviri Village is well known in Greece and also abroad for the Kassandra Festival which is usually held in July and August in the large amphitheater just outside the country and has a very important role in the development of cultural tourism. However, there is not only the great festival, every summer other interesting festivals are also organized such as that of honey in the nearby Fourka Village and Agia Paraskevi, the anchovy festival in Nea Skioni and the feast of the Apostle Paul which lasts three days. with dances, songs and traditional food to be tested absolutely.

As for the beach, it is considered one of the most beautiful in the Cassandra Peninsula. Long, of soft sand with sparkling and translucent clean waters, a sea that goes from blue to bright turquoise with sandy bottoms that slowly descend, perfect for a holiday with children where they can have fun until they drop. Behind it, gentle hills covered with lush woods that almost reach the sea. Like all places on the west coast of Kassandra, it enjoys an almost surreal view of the majestic and mythical Mount Olympus which is just about seventy kilometers from the bay.

If you want a more sheltered and reserved corner, along the whole area you can find beautiful coves where peace reigns supreme. Soft sand enclosed between the rocks where you can meet lovers of naturists and of course a fabulous sea.

About a couple of kilometers away, you will find the little known but fantastic Elani beach. In an environment made up of a dense larch forest, this small beach with a sandy coast is hidden with a limpid and transparent sea that slopes gently. Most of the coastline belongs to the Elani Bay Resort but there is also room for non-guests visitors. A beach bar where you can rent a sun bed and an umbrella as well as for something to drink or quick to eat.

Between Elani beach and Simantra beach, there is Helona Beach Bar. A small portion of soft sand with a more lively atmosphere, in fact the present bar is much loved especially by young people who like to gather here to party

As simple as drinking a glass of water. Direction Cassandra Peninsula on the west side, follow the main road and the signs towards Siviri and that's it. Once you arrive the choice is yours where to stay for a day of sun and sea.
