Agios Panteleimon Beach Amorgos

Agios Panteleimon beach is located right next to the Katapola village on the left side of the port entrance in the southwestern part of the Amorgos Island.

It owes its name to the small chapel in the classic Greek style whitewashed with the blue dome typical of the colors that characterize above all the Cyclades Islands.

A small beach of stones and sand, bathed by a clean sea and iridescent colors, perfect for a day in complete relaxation. It is not at all equipped here only nature and sea so' if you want to spend the day there, take care and bring everything you need from water to something to eat and since there are no shaded areas, something to shelter you especially in the hottest hours. It is perfect for lovers of long and relaxing swims and for families with children where adults can be caressed by the sun's rays and children have fun playing.

There are two alternatives, the first by sea, from the port of Katapola every day, especially during the high season, boats leave to take you to the beach.

The second, on the other hand, is on foot and is certainly the most beautiful route to take from a path that passes from the Xylokeratidi area that reaches the coast in a quarter of an hour. The walk is really pleasant because you can 'observe the territory closely and learn more' of this beautiful and multifaceted island.

In the immediate vicinity, we are talking about about five minutes on foot, you also arrive at Maltezi beach, perfect for a sunny day with its beach of soft white sand and with a sea of crazy colors and waters.

Agios Panteleimon beach is certainly not the most beautiful on the island, but very particular and very quiet, just for those who want to completely disconnect from everything for a day or a few hours and relax contemplating the landscape and listening to the sound of the sea.

Put it on the list of things to see in Amorgos, even if only for a short visit, it will be a moment of pure relaxation for body and mind.
